The problem
Let me present a scenario - your company, XYZ widgets, is gaining huge ground in the widget sector, which is undoubtedly exploding these days. You need an "enterprise-class solution", or so you've heard, at a trade show. So, after a couple of demos, you decide to purchase software from ArrogantlyProudOfOurSoftware, Inc, LLC, at just shy of a metric crap load of $$ (with discounts). Great, you've got your product, users are happy. Problem solved, right?
Now you have the inevitable system issue - guess what? APOS (ArrogantlyProudOfOurSofware) Co has got the solution for you! Simply roll another wheel-barrow full of monies by the corporate office, and we can tell you why our software went south on you.
STOP. What's wrong with this picture? I purchased an enterprise solution - now there's a matter of purchasing another enterprise solution to keep the first "enterprise solution" happy, and well-maintained? It's ridiculous.

Staring blankly at systems is a less effective way to manage them.
Enter Omni*sys
You'll also undoubtedly have a wee bit of custom applications - these programs won't help you there, either. You need to tell your management application what it's going to measure and maintain, not the other way around - and it needs to work.
If you've made it this far through my rantings, check out Omnisys' features or some screenshots. It's more than just the feverish dreams of a nerd gone mad.
